Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert, born January 27, 1970, is an American broadcast journalist who was formerly an official of the government. She was the Spokesperson of the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She was a senior associate at the Hudson Institute. It is an conservative think tank.
Before joining the Department of State she was an Fox News correspondent and news presenter. Nauert was also Acting under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs under the Trump administration from March to October 2018. In the year 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board as well as the President's Commission on White House Fellowships.
